The project looks at the relationship between people, the urbanscape, and water. Facilitated by 6 tools - a tarp, a mat, water bottles, pouches, a listening device, and maps - people are encouraged to playfully walk through the city and notice water’s presence: visible and invisible, above ground and below ground, free or conformed into pipes.
The tool kit invites people into conversations and actionable change towards water equality. By reframing complex challenges as fun and informal activities, citizens - who have intimate knowledge of their environments - become aware and empowered to take ownership over their surroundings.
Ever evolving, it is constantly being added on by the community that interacts with it. It invites citizens to deepen their connection with the place they live in - notice how it exists, listen to what it says, advocate for its rights; and with that, start moving towards a more resilient future with reciprocity between humans and more-than-humans.
